January Snow

On Saturday we took Charayye and Keith's engagement pictures- and Shane and I decided to get in on some of the action. It was sooo damn cold. For real--I can't remeber ever being that frozen. Nice how we picked one of the coldest days of Winter to do this.

I just have to say as much as I complained about the windy, cold weather I am so grateful for it.... for the variation in the four seasons; that is. I really am deeply grateful my parents have taught me the power and passion of nature. Heavenly Father has given us so much to be thankful for and sometimes I take it for granted. Tonight I'm feeling especially blessed.

Bad Day- yes, we ALL have them

Yes it's true this day was very awful ... halfway through my work day I was walking a patient out and Shane was standing in my office holding 2 dozen roses. What a neat surprise!
I came home and Shane fixed me dinner and duke cuddled with me on my chair--
Keith must have taken this picture--sometime during or after the movie?? I slept very well that night.... Prayers do get answered!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year! 2007 flew by- Shane and I are working hard to keep up our new years resolutions. So far so good! We are determined to make this year even better--

Oh and by the way- those of you who haven't seen "P.S. I Love You", you need to! It is fantastic; such a powerful movie for married couples.... bring some tissue!

Note to self: no more spending New Years Eve with Brett and Emily.... we couldn't keep up with those party animals!

Since Brady's live a few houses down from grandma, we let Hallie drive home from the party! She knew what she was doing too. I said to Shane, "She's done this before with her daddy!" :)
