Best month of the year!

This December has been indubitably the best month of this entire year! The girls would have to agree-- They've been doing those deep belly laughs that make you laugh out loud just by hearing it. They know all kinds of animal noises and point to every feature on their face when you ask them where such and such is. I swear they are so easy to teach. They WANT to learn and they loved Christmas, wrapping paper, jingle bells, and TURNING ONE!! If you ask them how old they are they are more than happy to show and then tell you! Its THEE cutest thing I've ever seen a child do!

I'm currently working on putting together my next post. It's not small either. Undoubtedly the largest post with pictures I've ever blogged. Coming up....

CHRISTMAS!
The twins turning ONE! with twice as many pictures because I have 2 times the children with the same b-day :)
Arizona
Thanksgiving
Pebble beach & Carmel
Anniversary

stay tuned those of you who missed celebrating with us this month. I don't feel too bad for you viewers because I only post every so often so I'm entitled to a few large over-the-top posts.

LASTLY

before I go, I must talk about something that I cannot stop thinking about!!
Has anyone ever seen a movie that you love and hate at the same time? You hate this movie but the more you think about it you LOVE it for so many reasons; but at the same time you wonder how in the world can I love it when I hate it so much! And you find yourself contradicting the way you feel about this movie all day long when you should be thinking of others things like what to do for dinner. Then in the end, you come to accept the fact that this movie has left you totally and completely insecure about the way you really feel about it afterall. In essence, emotionally screwed up is more like it. I cannot believe how this movie has gotten to me.

The craziest part about my story is this:
I text my mom this little scenario I've written out and asked her if she's ever seen a movie that made her feel this way (BTW, I did not write the title of the movie in my text) and no kidding she writes back:
"...yes I have, It's called COLD MOUNTAIN!"
HA! she wrote the very same movie I'm talking about!!! Crazy!
There you have it folks this is the movie thats been consuming my thoughts all day today.

Have any of you seen it?
what movie makes you feel this way?

Remember BIG Decmeber post coming up!

Heres to 4 inspiring years...

up first:: we had a very fun and
HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Straight out of Africa--happily presents to you your two safari guides and THE cutest little miss Kanga and spunky giraffe the African safari's have ever seen! These two don't bite! They are the sweetest wild animals I've ever met!

My back was killing me....heavy on the word killing. Here we are switching babies and taking turns. We walked around Shanes parents neighborhood with all the cousins and this neighborhood doesn't disappoint! I never got $1 bills or king size candy bars when I went trick or treating as a child! Back then we were happy with those tiny tootsie rolls :)

IF you've never had a kiss from a WILD kangaroo or giraffe then you're missing out...they're the best kind! (haha wait! But Shane HAS had a kiss from an actual REALwild giraffe in Africa.) He says this one was much better... but just as wet  LOL :)

Breakfast!
This picture makes me laugh because I remember it well. Shane must have snapped it while I was dancing to Party in the USA for the girls. They honestly LOVE that song!

Loving on daddy and helping mommy with the laundry. They love 'helping' which usually consists of me folding something and them picking up that very thing I just folded and shaking it; then tossing it to the ground at their feet.

Happy 4 Years to my Better Half!
I've been a wife for four years and a mother for one. How incredible lucky I am to be able to be both at the same time. Every mother can agree it's easy to lose yourself in the daily life of motherhood and I want Shane to know he's above anything and everything in my life even when it does feel like he's occasionally on the back burner. Shane is the first man I ever met who can make me laugh til I cry. Of course we argue hard; but we laugh harder. We dance in front of the children and pray aloud together. He loves every part of me. He reinvigorates the old... lifes grind sometimes wittles aways the parts of me that are carefree, inspired, focused or fun and Shane defends those parts and enlightens me when I've lost my way. He reminds me that I still AM those things, they're not gone, even on my most beaten down days. He understands how to love me the way I need to be loved and not neccessarily the way he wants to love me. I'm sure Shane's had to adjust his expectaions of me a time or two and align them with reality because I make mistakes often. No matter how monumental the mistake may be, if it wasn't intentionally hurtful, he's able to 'let it go' just like it never even happened. I treasure my marriage above all other relaionships. My marriage is my greatest blessing in this life. How deeply grateful I am for a loving and patient partner. I just wanted to express this gut wrenching feeling I have for my husband. Call it overindulgence in lifes emotioonal goods or call it altruistic. Whatever it is, it's imminent and it's complaisant and its routed deep in my core. I Love you Shane.
Happy Anniversary.

Just a few Videos and 2 new Posts!!

These videos are all short-about 30 seconds

& you'll need to stop my music located on the right to hear the videos.

...that was for my mom :)

Halloween costume pics to come SOON....

This ones cute. Ashton's been shaking her head to everything lately.

Lindsey walks around everywhere when she has something to hold onto. Who knew she was strong enough to push Ashy around too! SO funny!

KISSES!

Notice at first Ashton doesn't want a kiss and Lindsey gets frustrated so she screams.

We laugh so hard at this one everytime! Lindsey will do anything to get a binkie and she usually wants the ones that are unavailable or in Ashy's mouth; she's a smart girl and she knows just the right tricks to get herself one!

...2 new posts below, mom :)

FHE
Pumkin Carving Party!

ahhhh, we got to change into our tiger pjs, ate dessert, threw a royal fit while everyone frantically looked for my favorite pink binkie and blanket, gave hugs and loves, and then fell fast asleep before we hit the freeway. Too bad mom and dad didn't get to carve a pumkin. When Uncle Larry asked mommy where her pumkin was because they were going outside to light them, she laughed. Then I heard her say..."Lar, are you serious?!" As we were getting in our carseats I couldn't figure out why Ashton is always so chill. I heard mommy say she's excited for next years carving party because we can help pull out all the gross icky stuff. Whatever that means; all I say is they better not lose my dang binkie again next year!
Love,
Lindz
