Ok first off Merry Christmas! Let me start out by saying I have a freakin butt load of pictures!... This is one crazy, fun, busy, sleepless month! Some of you friends may think my blog is boring but I do it as a journal for Shane and I. I know my family will especially enjoy this post. SO.....I'll back up to the beginning of the month: Rach, about to have baby number four!, and Shay came up to visit the first weekend in December. No kids; just my good old sis' and crazy brother in law ("who ran off in the night") LOL
Who knew the mall could be so much fun. Christmas shoppers are the top 5 funniest people to watch!

This day was our family tradition day of shopping!

We went to Keith's restaurant "Canal" in Scottsdale. That was seriously an impressive place! They have fashion shows where the models walk right through the middle of the tables! If you haven't been you need to go! You'll love it! As you can see we were all hysterically laughing at Shaylar. He was on one that night, I want to know who put the quarter in Shay?!
We were the last ones in the restaurant and because Keith is such a big part of it he let us strut our stuff on the cat walk! Oh my gosh my dad dancing to that music was the best part of the night!!!!

Back in Utah.... We needed to make it back in time for Shane's work Christmas party...we found an indoor skating rink upsatirs. No one was around and the music and tv's were on so why wouldn't we help ourselves to some skates!
My mom and dad came back up to Utah last week for more Christmas parties! Here's Charayye and I up at temple square. Frozen.
We went and saw the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Concert! It really was so great and entertaining actually.

Shane and I, along with Brett and Emily, took my parents to Happy Sumo and they tried sushi for the first time. EVER! It's our favorite so we had to introduce them to this world. We pretty much tried the whole menu as well as desserts. Thanks mommy and daddy for dinner! By the way- SOLD! They liked it and said they'd do it again. Mission accomplished!

I made pastry cream fruit tarts for the party that night. It was a great hit! We had the best time making them that day, huh mom! We sure had a mess to clean up but managed to get it done just in time for the party. Probably one of the best memories of that trip for me.
Keith on a dare, of course, to eat an extra large piece of ice cream pie! Just when it was almost down, it started to come back up...that's when I intervened :)
KEITH MOVED TO UTAH THIS WEEK!!! I'm hella excited to have you live with us, Keith! I love you!
HEY!-HEY!-HEY!...... S-U-R-P-R-I-S-E! .....Keith just got engaged! They're both really lucky to have each other. We are so excited to have Charayya as a sister!! Thank you for making my brother the happiest I've ever seen him!
Last but not least...the Brady family Christmas party. Don't be jealous of Shane's Kennedy Space center jacket he won during the white elephant exchange. This would make Michael Jackson proud!
Josh won our infamous james brown who, yep you heard it, also shakes his hips when he sings. It was a little difficult to part with this one!
Bentley was out. I wish I could just fall asleep anywhere I wanted :)
Brett's white elephant helped him with his lactating problems!....he's a good sport!

OK so first off... There are few people in the world I love more than you Truly!!! I miss you!! Why dont we still live together? The good old days. And the snowball picture outside of nordys may be most favorite picture of you ever..(the ice skating one is a close second though) I love it! You are beautiful as ever!
Truly I loved this entire post! You look amazing per usual and I have to agree I love the picture of you outside of Nordstrom because I can hear your laugh! Your tart looks amazing and so does your house! You have such a great family and I miss them. I'm glad that you got to spend so much time with them. Happy Holidays Tru, love you!

Fun pics! I am sooo excited for Keith! Sharay (probably butchered the spelling!) seemed so sweet and fun! Are they going to live in Utah when they are married? How fun that he is living with you guys right now! I bet you have a lot of fun! It was so fun seeing you guys at the Christmas party! We need to keep in touch more often. Jon and I really want to come up for a visit! We can go get sushi...we love it too!!
You are a doll. I had a blast looking at your pictures. I would of helped you get the guys back, they deserve it.. that was a lot of snow! I'm sure your grandmas party was a blast. Sorry we didn't make it, we were so tired. We went home and went to bed, boring I know but we needed it! haha.
Hey Truly, OMG it's been forever since I've seen you. I can't believe it's been so long since your fam moved out of the ol neighborhood. Thanks for saying my apartment is cute, it's a work in progress. We need couches and that kind of stuff still. I do love my bike, Jon picked it out of coarse and we just got them in our shipment so I haven't even rode it yet. Looks like you had lot's of fun in all those pics. I'm so happy Keith is engaged. Him and your Dad used to be our home teachers forever ago, and he is such a nice guy. Tell your mom hi for me too. I saw her at Marissa Agne's wedding and she seriously is such a doll. Hope you guys have a great Christmas. Try not to loose anymore toenails, that looked pretty bad. Oh, and I will tell Jonathan you said hi.

Hey, ya I pretty much stalk everyone's blogs, so no worries, haha. Germany is amazing. There is so much culture in Europe, and it's crazy cuz it's so unique from the states. It's sounds like you really want to see Europe. Have you been before? You and your hubby should just fly out here and visit. You would have a plae to stay and you could do some traveling. My girlfriend Joanna flew out here last year with me and we backpacked Europe for 2 months while Jon was in Iraq. It was seriously the most awesome experience. I'll post some pics for ya later. Anyway have a great New Year!
