......where does the time go?!!

Our precious baby A's profile- she's getting so big! Baby B must have been having a bad hair day because she was NOT going to let us take her picture...

We had our 24 week check up with the Perinatologist at Utah Valley again yesterday. I get so excited for these appts I can hardly stand it. I also get so nervous that I about made myself sick on the drive over. (So many things can go wrong, and only you moms with twins our there know exactly what I'm talking about.) Results are: Mommy isn't doing great but the girls are- and that's all I honestly care about!!! The best part about the appt was the news of them growing at the exact same speed. They actualy weigh the very same amount and measuring three days ahead of schedule. I couldn't be more thankful. Baby A's placenta has completely moved up and out of the way of my cervix. Although she likes to sit extremely low still.

The only thing cooler than feeling one baby kick is feeling two! I woke up around three last night and stayed up watching my stomach. It's incredible- I love feeling them and because there are two in there I've been feeling them longer than singleton pregnancies. It's not that they're bigger it's just that they have less room so I feel them earlier. This is something I've really really enjoyed.

The Doctor told me a womens uterus at 24 weeks is at their belly button or just above it. Mine is all the way up to the middle of my ribs. Which explains soooo much pain I've been having. Baby B has really bruised the right side of my ribs. She likes to nestle her head up in there. As time goes on we hope she doesn't break one of them. I don't usually complain but this sometimes makes me want to scream which is rare because I know I can handle alot. I loved my appt, every minute of it! Next week I see Dr. Judd- hopefully my red blood cells are getting more oxygen now considering that nasty liquid med I have to take to compensate for it :) tastes like blood. Ewww- I'm laughing as I type because I made Shane try it one time and that was one priceless face!

Thanks for the update. I love hearing the girls are doing well. I got them cute little matching outfits and I can't wait to give them to you. I hate that you are in pain but happy you are making it through it. You are so cute pregnant! Have you read Breaking Dawn? Just pretend you are Bella when you are taking that yucky medicine.

Hi Truly. I am glad things are going well. I am student teaching and one of my supervising teachers is pregnant with twins and is due in Jan. She is always so careful and experiences pains that probably are not the norm with having just one. Thank goodness you know the pain is all going to end in a wonderful result.

Take care.

Hey Truly, you look so cute! I am glad to hear that the girls are doing so well. You don't have too much time left before you see their precious faces. You are amazing at how much you have had to endure during this pregnancy. Its going to pay off for sure. Best of luck to you in these upcoming weeks. Love the updates. Take care, Alysha
