My second Home...

Back to the hospital for more testing. After our stay last week they put me on strict bedrest over the weekend in hopes that the babies heartrates would go down....IT WORKED!

It's crazy to me...sometimes I stare at these horrible stretchmarks and think back to when I had my buff, flat stomach (that is one thing I will say about myself...I had a great stomach) and the truth is, all I can think about is how excited I am to see these little girls and how seriously worth it it is to have these marks!

The Doctor asked me how active the girls are...Uh seriously? I swear I've got to have worlds most active babies. They are so alive and awake that sometimes I call Dr. Judd because I get so worried about it. Last night Shane put his wallet on my belly and Baby B full on launched it in the air, kicking it right off. We just sat there staring at the wallet on the ground for a minute and then Shane says, "Hmmm, ok!....there just wasn't any money in it!" LOL

My contractions were 11 minutes apart but I had three that were within 5 minutes. I made an agreement with these girls, they just HAVE to stay in until Dr. Judd gets back in town next Monday..But being the amazing guy he is, he made special arrangements with another doctor just in case I go into labor this week. Otherwise I'd have a family practice DO who IHC sent in for the week. Don't get me wrong, this DO is probably great, but Dr. Judd knew our situation needed special attention so he hand picked another OB for us during this week. Has anyone heard of Dr. Wayne Young?? Please do tell...

Dr. Young is great! He is my friends dad and has been here in Orem for about 13-15 years? Heather the NP in Judd's office just came from there. Talk to her about him. Good luck! You are doing a great job!

I hope everything goes well for you!! Is it weird that I have been thinking about you guys and we have never met? I know Shane so I guess it is not that weird. You both seem like you are going to be the best parents. Those 2 girls are so lucky.

So I check almost every day, looking for sweet little newborn pics on your blog. But I'm glad they have waited so long.

And now we will see if they are obediant and wait until Monday. You mean in like 6 days Monday? Do you know how cramped those girls are? I'm sure you do more than anyone!

And I will definitely get you two matching skirts, as long as you promise to take pictures. If something looks cute on one little girl, it is ten times cuter on little twin girls!

You still look beautiful Truly! Those strech marks are just a testament to what you have been willing to do to get those girls here. Good luck!
Oh ya, and I loved the wallet story. That's a girl for ya. Get ready for it Shane!

Truly, you do not know me. I have been following your blog since summer. I found your blog through another member. I hope this doesn't freak you out. I know at one point you had thought of going private, but I have to tell you that your story has made me appreciate my babies much more and what a blessing it is to have them. Anyway, I was captivated by your story and the struggle that you have gone through. I have been praying that everything would go well for you. Your story has been amazing. Thanks for sharing it. I hope the girls will hang in there and that your Dr. will be able to attend. We wish you all the best.

Hey Truly,
It's Joan Martin, I have been reading your blog for a while. It is so exciting that the babies are still in. I love how you have shared you story so honestly. You are inspiration to everyone who reads your blog.
It will be so exciting to see those baby girls, who are already amazing before they are born because they have been so cooperative by not coming out just yet.
And the stretch marks? What the Papa's is true, it just shows a little of what you were willing to do to be able to have those girls.

You are amazing Tru...every time I read your blog I'm so overwhelmed by your positive attitude and optimism. I just love you and I'm so sorry you have to go through all of this, but I'm so happy your little gals are doing better and so are you. I loved the pictures of Shane in the chair trying to entertain you at the hospital...he cracks me up, he just adores you. What a good man to bring you the yummy tart...I'd have to agree, the nurses probably loved him, he's wo much fun to be around and always makes you laugh. The pictures of you from Thanksgiving with your yellow and green top...GORGEOUS! I think it's my favortie picture of the two of you so far. You look beautiful Tru, your hair, lipstick and the yellow and green are so flattering on you. Your mom and dad rock...they are always right there and doing anything and everything to help, I'm excited to see them at Christmas. Good luck the next couple weeks and know we're thinking of you and love you both!
