This past month has been crazy, exciting, busy, and flat out exhausting; yet exhilerating.
In just ONE months we've had...
3 Doctor visits, our nephew was born, mastitis...again!, stroller rides & car rides, Easter, video clips, my mom came back twice, croupe & sick babies, few 'first time' moments, car accidents & mishaps, sunday get-togethers, girls professional photo shoot, experimenting with bath toys & bumbos....OH BOY!
For: Gramma Stauffer, my journaling, and my family because I know you will be very happy about all these pictures!
P.S.
The twins photo shoot was unbelievable. Unbelievable! Out of 175 pictures, about 120 are fabulous...I'll post some soon.
Pull up a chair and get comfy...The last 12 posts, yes 12 posts, are in no particular order...
...just a months worth of moments. I can't believe my daughters are 4 months old already. 4 MONTHS! Really though, 4 months?!?! OMG, I love them so much! My heart is so full of emotion...
BUT
Sometimes I ask myself: why do we think of our emotions as being centered in the heart? Emotions are centered in the brain of course. But when we experience a powerful emotion~ fear, grief, love~ adrenaline pours into the blood, increases the blood pressure and accelerates the heart. So it makes perfect sense, to me, to think the heart controls emotion. Therefore, I think my heart might explode with emotion over my sweet sweet baby girls!

You have no idea how fun and interesting it is to read about other twin mommies and how they feel through out the whole experience..I totally relate!
Oh, and I SO remember carrying the whole house with me when the twins were that age. I actually had some parting issues with my pump when I stopped BF and had to give it back to WIC..its weird how you get attatched to that thing.
Later when they started eating baby food I would sometimes bring a whole high chair with me places because even if people have 1 at their house..it just isnt enough:)
I was watching home videos of the twins as newborns the other day and you dont realize how precious that footage is until later. I still cant get over how the first year just flew by..It seems I was just where you were at. And now my boys are almost in nursery! Crazy!
Your girls are adorable! I love how different they look.
I love all the updates! When I go down to provo I spend the night and I feel like I bring the entire house with me just for one night, I can't imagine having another little one. But I have to say I'm already thinking about another one! It won't happen for a while but it just makes you want a million kids. Babies are so precious and I can't get enough of them. You guys look great and happy and I love that. I hope to meet these girls one day. Bailey needs to meet her friends! :)
about your little one sleeping on her tummy... i would be just as confused as you! i have heard of this mat you place under the baby as they sleep that tracks their movements, breathing and all. if there is no movement for a certain amount of seconds then an alarm goes off. i think that would bring some peace of mind to you! sorry, i dont know the name of it....but i think it sounds like a great idea!!!
Oh my gosh, your girls are SO cute, and SO perfect! I love their little outfits, and their giggles, and I just want to smell their little heads. I love how you're laughing in the video with Ashton, I know you're probably loving every second of being a mommy, and you're doing great.
Your girls are so big already! I can't believe it!
Truly, I emailed you. I am DYING to talk to you!!! In case you haven't read my email yet, I found out this week I am having twins and my head is spinning! I really want to talk to someone who is living it.

Oh, how I love to look at my great granddaughters. They are so darling, and growing - life is exciting for you and for them. Life, of course, will never be the same for you, but will always be more meaningful. We love you all.
