The little cubs are 9 months old!
Ashton and Lindsey are just small. Our Pediatrician said most twins have caught up to the average baby by 9 months...not these two. Our laundry situation is quite funny. The girls have longs legs. period. I can't dry any of their pants because it will make them too short and I can't buy the next size up because they barely fit in their waist as it is. So after the wash I end up pulling on the pant legs and laying them out to dry. Who knew baby laundry could be difficult. They're both healthy and very advanced. Lindsey is mor advanced than most 12 month olds in some ways.

ASHTON:
15 pounds = 1.3%
27 inches = 22%

***Ashy says mama and dada, says Mmmm with every bite she takes, she holds everything with her feet- her bottle, toys, turns pages in books (its funny and a little I don't know creepy maybe), she's army crawling, mimics ALL noises and tells giberish secrets, cannot go to sleep without the one binkie in her mouth and the one in each hand OR the extra 3-4 she has in her crib, gives high fives, kisses, dances, blows kisses, waves bye-bye, pulls out all my hair and wants my jewelry, notices every detail and texture like pinestripes on my suits and tiny buttons, favorite toy is a purple tucan and a pink and yellow rattle, snorts when she gets excited, especially loves sweet potatoes, peaches, blueberries, and green beans, likes her back tickled and head rubbed, closes her eyes tighly and makes this high pitch squeel and coughing noise at the same time while she clenches her fists when she's happy (it's my very favorite thing at the moment), has a soft raspy voice when she talks and squeels but a loud deep cry.***

LINDSEY:
14 pounds 13 ounces = .8%
27 inches 22%

***Lindz growls at us when she's really mad (we have to turn our faces to laugh), loves to be sang to and have her face tickled AND her arms and legs and back...she's just like her mama!, finds the labels and tags to everything! if the blanket doesn't have one then she doesn't want it, she's pretty much walking, crawls out of her crib, gets up all the stairs in about 20 seconds, scrunches her nose when she laughs and smiles, loves to be chased, refuses to let me clip or bite her fingernails, usually have to put diapers on her backwards because she only lays still for zero seconds, claps her hands, blows kisses, gives kisses, high fives, favorite toy was a pink elephant now its Shane's belts and golf balls, cannot go to sleep without her white bunny or tiny blanky with labels all over it, zero interest in toys- only real things, queen of pushing out her bottom lip, little miss sociable people lover, says 'nanana' all the time not sure what that one means yet, always plays with her hands- it's like she can tell a story through her hands it's amazing.***

The little cubs are best friends!! Its the cutest thing i've ever seen when they are happy to see one another. Lindsey is almost always up before Ashton at naptime and as soon as those little eys open she crawls to the edge of her crib, the corner where their cribs meet, and she screams and hollers and throws binkies at Ashton until she wake up. Ashton is so excited to see her everytime!

Just before church! They kept steeling binkies from each other. Here I'm telling Ashton that Lindsey needs to learn how to share.

This was a fun night. Well kind of. I felt bad for Keith and Charayye who came over and ended up MAKING the whole dinner and then we didn't even sit down to eat it until 10:45pm. Typical night for us but I'm sure they were like "what the hell... is this for real?!" Emily came over with the man of STEELE! Im happy my girls have cousins so close in age!!

Oh yes she did! She watched the cats run in and out of it and I could see her thoughts proccessing. In no time at all Lindsey decided to become our 3rd cat.

(1) before the walk..waving to mommy

(2) after the walk....awwww

The drive to church is about 10 seconds, really. Its probably faster to walk but its been too cold lately. So the girls get to ride up front... sometimes! Lindsey sings and jumps she loves it so much.

We went to Gardner Village with Shane's family to see the witches...SO FUN! And I saw my very best, favorite (along with you dit :), craziest roomate from college! SUZETTE! I looked up and we both screamed! I could have spent all day with you, hun. We laughed and cried as we caught up on each others lifes- I LOOOVE you more than anything in the world!~

Not only did grandma fall down and break her hip, but she broke it on her way to get pictures of the little twins!!! She was all proud to show off her little twinies and she ended up in the hospital and going on her 3rd week of rehab. We love you so much gma! Lindz wants some more wet kisses & Ash wants more high fives!! (I went blond the day after the pic on the left and the pic on the right is my result) I like it for now.

COSTCO!!
Why is it my favorite place you ask??
...maybe it's the pizza
...maybe it's the seasonal items
...maybe it's the bulk fruit
...it might even be the sampled foods
but its DEFINITELY the DOUBLE CARTS!!

I still laugh at this picture. I put Lindsey in the high chair without knowing her legs were stuck to one side. I went to get food out of the fridge and make a sippy of water when I looked over and busted up! Literally out loud laughing. The girls thought they did something so funny so they started clapping a squeeling and throwing thier arms in the air. She didn't even complain....SO NOT like her!

I loved your detailed description of each of the girls. It was great. You looked so pretty in the blue checked church dress, and you're right, it was just a matter of time before Linz would figure out the doggie door! The before and after 'going for a walk' pic in their pink outfits was so cute. You and the girls looked especially pretty in the car on your way to church. Really pretty. I'm so sorry Grandma fell and broke her hip but I'm sure seeing the girls cheered her right up. I really liked the girls playing in the kitchen with the pots and pans, and the pic of Shane holding Lindsey in yellow shirts. Well, it looks like Costco is a favorite place for the girls as well as mommy and daddy, and Grandma Nana too. Linny looks sooo relaxed snoozing all sssttrreeettchhed out. AHHH! The pic where they are both standing by your tub is precious. What an amazing entry. Shanks a jillion!

one more thing, well, probably three is more like it.....Ashton's profile pic looks like the little girl on the cover of your 'Baby's First Christmas' book! The picture of you and Linny with her green dress and blue pretty is adorable. I laughed out loud when I saw her legs geewoppered in her high chair! (is that a word?...heehee)
