The twins want to say...
Merry Christmas!
We had all kinds of adorable santa outfits with hats but they were all huge. Daniel's mom gave us these reindeer socks, they even have little tails in the back, this was about the only thing that fit these two little bods.

If you had any idea how special this picture is to me. My dad gave this print to my mom the day I was born and it has hung in her room for 25 years. All these years I was fond of this picture because it represents me. How ironic that I looooved to read books growing up too. Anyhow, on Christmas Eve my parents came over and we exchanged gifts. When I opened my big present this picture is what I found inside. I gasped. I never dreamed she'd give it up to me now that I have daughters of my own. It was the perfect gift.

Enjoying our own little Christmas Eve Dinner my mom and sister made for us. My whole family came up for Christmas this year. Because of the big snow storm, RSV, and such tiny newborn babies, the Doctors advised people to stay away. SO they were lucky enough to get to stay at Shane's parents house. Which was much better for us in the end. My parents and sister were amazing and drove back and forth a hundred times a day, bringing in who knows what, and making sure we had everything we needed. Dinner was delicious!
I suppose that Christmas is a physical reminder of those things which we should be doing all year long. 2008, pfhew, what a year! Each year the Christmas season seems to rush by faster than the year before. Then, all too soon, it's over and we haven't taken the time to sit back and enjoy the special time of year with our families. Except just the very opposite happened for us this year. We have enjoyed every moment of this Christmas season. We worked very hard....here's to a happy ending!

Congrats to both of you! Uncle Ernie and I are so excited for you! Keep up the nursing Tru! It will get easier and you will be so glad you did. Get some of those terry covered pony tail holders and put around the girls ankles to hold up socks. Works like a charm! When my nephews were born I got to help a lot and it was so much fun only I never knew which one was which because they were identical! They turned 10 in Dec and I finally recognized them right the first time! I can pass on tips from her if you need. Multiples are a special miracle!!
Ok i just had to comment on how Lindsay has her leg hooked on Ashton in a few of your pics!! SO CUTE!! It just seems like such a natural position to her!! Definitely sisters but definitely unique, beautiful little girls. I'm so anxious to meet them!
Love the girls socks!
