First DR. VISIT!

Skinny Linny
Ashy

Sadly enough these girls have already had 4 Dr. visits in the first two weeks of their little lives....but good news! They couldn't be more strong and healthy. Lindsey, the smaller of the two, actually has higher stats. Although both are really really healthy and in super great shape! Dr. Wynn was hoping to see the girls back to their birth weight at their two week check-up and they sure did us proud. I've been a basket case trying to breastfeed, supplement with two types, using the tube and nipple shield on Lindsey, change diapers, and then pump my milk to help stimulate more for two babies. It's been seriously hard and time consuming, but honestly worth it. I love holding them! It takes me an hour and half to do all the feeding business; then an hour and a half later, it's time to start the process all over again. The most sleep I've got at a time is two hours; but my mom has been here and she's been a wonderful helping hand as well as Shane who's been one unbelievable daddy already! I'm desperately trying to breastfeed. (My OB and nurses in the hospital say I'm crazy to do this with multiples. Only 5 % of women with twins breastfeed...so we'll see what happens.) I'm so proud the girls gained all their weight back so early on, I guess I must be doing something right!

Hang in there with the breastfeeding. I nursed my twins for 14 months. The hardest part was the first few weeks, if you can power through the rest is cake. The first few weeks were hell on earth and I wanted to give up multiple times but I just kept on going and it was totally worth it in the end. I know you can do it!

You can do it! :) Have faith in yourself and your body. (Also, take alfalfa tablets--they will increase your supply!)

My name is Raydean and I am a friend of Estherlyn Lee. She tells me she has this friend who just had twins and I was wondering how things were going for you and your new family. Looks like things are AWESOME!! Your girls are such a BLESSING! I have three children of my own and I love them with everything in me. There is nothing in this world I wouldn't do for my babies. God has blessed us with little children to love, teach and help them grow. I can tell you and your husband are already awesome parents. It all starts before they are born. As far as nursing twins goes, YOU CAN DO IT! My cousin nursed her twins for almost two years! If you ever need anything or wanna talk to a total stranger just email:) spitfireray007@yahoo.com CONGRATULATIONS!!
