almost done updating.... and I give you...

...ARIZONA

Trip # 1
WE DROVE!... and it was hell

...most of the time. We're talking about two girls who absolutely hate there carseats and do not like going on drives. However, we talked to many moms who said driving was by far easier. So we rented a mini van because the range rover is way too small for 2 kids and gave it a go. Haha I remember yelling at Shane and telling him if we weren't halfway yet to turn around. I remember at one point I was nursing Ashton as she sat in her carseat, pumping on the otherside while trying to hush Lindsey with a binkie as I held her bottle inbetween my neck and shoulder like a phone. I somehow did all this while they stayed buckled in those seats.

Trip # 2
WE FLEW!!...and it was heaven.

When we landed, Shane and I looked at each other and swore we'd never drive again.
Theres nothing like being with family. My paretns go nuts over thet twins and I always have a helping hand. This was one of my favorite trips of all time. I can't really put my finger on why exactly but I came home refreshed. I love watching my mom and dad love the girls!!

First time eating rice cereal! They had their first bites at 6 months and Ashton seemed to figure it out a little qiucker but Lindsey thought she 'died and went to heaven'. Our faces were so funny trying to feed them. My dad was crackin up taking this picture.

Cousin Taylor loves the girls and they light up whenever she walks into the room . In the springtime, next year, Taylor gets to come up to Utah all by herself and help me with the twins. We are very excited about having her!!

I really like this cute family picture. My memory of this day is funny: we were eating at a retaurant (oreganos) and Lindsey was being so difficult. Everyone in my family had to take a turn holding her so we could all eat. My brother said, "how do you go anywhere." It was more of a statement, not so much a question. we just laughed

Your family is so beautiful! It's amazing how much the girls have changed. It really only seems like yesterday that you had them! It's so great to see them doing so well and that you and Shane are doing the same.

You have a fantastic family, especially your Mom and Dad. There really isn't anything better than family support and love. Especially when you know they love your kids. Also, just to reiterate, we sure do love your kids and you soooo much.
