I especially loved spending my morning with these little bugs in the backyard today. They love to be naked. Well Lindsey loves to be naked and Ashton decided she'd take off her clothes to see what the big idea was. Of course she just loved the feeling and ran around after Lindsey. I think I might have to get used to two little Nudist' running around for awhile. But lets be honest, who doesn't love being naked?!

It's soooo adorable!
We miss you a ton. I was downstairs making our breakfast when I heard the girls scream out "Daddy?!" when they woke up this morning and their bathtime just isn't the same without you. However, they were little angels for me last night. We successfully read a book all together without fighting over space on my lap, sang songs, put a shoe on for Lindsey, read another book, brushed teeth (major fit from Ash over that), read yet another story, changed shoes at Lindsey's demand, sang the lullaby, two more stories of course, said prayers (Lindz is getting amazing at the Amen part) We all kissed each other 3 or 4 times and then they said "Night Nights" and just flopped over without a peep. Without a peep from Lindsey only because I left her shoe on I'm sure :) Then came in about an hour later and grabbed bottles and the beloved shoe.
It was a dream night! ...Love those! Ok, I'll see you tomorrow. I can't wait to run on the beach.

My mom and dad are back in town today visiting. Hurray! They come up very often and I know many of you folks must think they don't really live in AZ and that they are residents of UT...I WISH! I leave tomorrow for Pebble Beach. I'm going to the US Open. Grandma has graciously opened her house to family for the week instead of renting it out. Shane is already there probably getting his front row seat on the patio all broken in haha this is better than Christmas for him especially with all his hookups and people he knows. It's fun being married to a golfer I tell ya! A good one at that!
I've never been away from the girls yet so this trip makes it my first time. I told Shane I might be a basket case and a kid in the candy store. I'm laughing right now because you just don't realize how full and busy and loud my world has become that I can honestly tell you I haven't a clue how to act. It almost feels a bit wrong or neglectful, if you will, to only care for myself these next few days. I've gotten used to always packing a diaper bag with bottles, binkies, blankets, and snacks wherever I go, being attached to strollers and wearing clothes that are constantly stained on my shoulders, folding laundry and doing dishes in my 'down-time', singing itsy bitsy spider throughout the day, and even going the bathroom with kids on my lap...And I love it; I do. Almost ALL of it! It's hard remembering a life without my kids. This will be a good break and I do think I deserve it. I get to be on a plane all by myself tomorrow with just my book?? Holy cow, it sounds like I'm dreaming. There's the mom side of me that is nervous to leave the twins (yep I even printed out a list for foods they like, snacks they love on walks, an Ashton and Lindsey Dictionary to help my parents understand, and activities they love) Then there's the wife side of me who yearns to spend the weekend with just her husband and I cannot wait. Thank you Nana and Papa for babysitting and encouraging me to go. I know it will be a party here while I'm gone. I'm halfway ready for my kids to wake up and expect ice cream for breakfast when I get home.

AHH!! Can't wait to see you!! No one better to leave the babes with than Grandma and Grandpa. They are soo amazing with your girls. I loved having one on one time with my grandparents!
We are going to have a blast with the littles while you"re away. They probably won't want ice cream for breakfast, just sippicoes (that's popsicles in Ashton & Lindsey language) :) Oh my, they'll be so glad to see you when you come home cuz they love their mommy and daddy, but since they love their Grammy & Papa so much too, they'll be just fine while your gone. We LOVE the lady bugs, but as any grandparent who has babysat for extended amounts of time knows, we will be tired after babysitting for 5 days, especially with these active little munchkins, but it will be worth it!!! I mean who wouldn't do something like this if they were offered an all expense paid trip to Paris like you promised. We can't wait! Have fun at Pebble Beach! Love, Mom and Dad

I wish I had your email and if you gave it to me at one point I have since lost it... anyhow I have a friend struggling with infertility in Utah and I told her I would get your doctors name and info. And I know you have told me it before, but I have THE worst memory. She has issues with cysts and what not and just had a miscarriage. she feels lost and not sure where to turn because her doc just wants to keep doing clomid and not tackle the cyst issues. And she is having a hard time getting into a specialist because she is too young and has previously been pregnant (always ending in miscarriage). I am not sure if your doc would be the next step for her particular situation, but I thought it wouldn't hurt for her to get in and see what he has to say. Or if you know a doc in Utah valley that specializes in that area I would appreciate any input. Thanks a bunch! feel free to email if you prefer.

Hi Truly! I started following your blog while you were pregnant with your beautiful baby girls. I made a comment about my mom having to be on bed rest while preggers with me, and that I wouldn't know life as I do today if it wasn't for her sacrifice. Anyways, I am contacting you because infertility seems to be my cross to bear now! I have a 4 year old daughter. But in October it will be 2 years of trying to conceive another child. I tried clomid for 2 months, but it doesn't seem to agree with me. I had a hysterosalpingogram and my husband did the "man" test, and it all seems to be fine. I do not have endometriosis to my knowledge. Last month we tried A.I., but it didn't take! Ugh...it is so frustrating!! All my close friends are pregnant right now, so things have been a little rough! IT SUCKS!! I was just wondering if you have any information that might be helpful. Truly - I am your old buddy TC's wife - I think you commented on my blog like a loooong time ago and thats how I came to know of your blog- anyway- I stop by every once in a while to look and I think your two little girls are so cute! They remind me so much of my little girl! I had to comment on this post because Macy LOVES her nudie time - I mean the girl lives to be naked! Anyway, I do not know how you do it with two kiddos, one keeps me busy all day as it is! I just had to tell you how cute I think your little blog is!
