Goodby Summer

Anyone who knows me knows how happy I am about the weather this past week. Rain! Snow! Wind! My favorite season is coming up! However, it does make me sad to say goodbye to all the fun summer activities the girls and I have done together. Tonight as I packed up all their sandals and cute summery clothes I realized how bad it sucks that I won't be able to pull these same cute outfits out next year....as they most likely wont fit. As I sealed up the fourth box of clothes, I told Shane I needed to sift through all my summer pics for I knew I had some great ones. This post is RIDICULOUSLY large but each picture means something to me.
Below are some of the bugs favorite summer outdoor activities:

*Shopping with mommy*
*checking the mail!*
*Swimming*
*coloring*
*watching Mickey & Caillou*
*sidewalk chalk*

They are too adorable!

So I totally thought Bailey wouldn't fit in her stuff either her second year. I am totally shocked to put stuff on her from last year, still 12month stuff and it really still fits. Some of it doesn't but some of it does. She has gotten to that point where she is mostly just growing up and losing all the baby fat which is so sad but really a lot of her clothes still fit her. So next year you'll have to try pulling some of it out, especially dresses. Dresses bailey wore at 6 months she now wears as shirts and they are so cute. Just depending on the dress. Some work some don't. Anyway, that was way too long but I thought I would share.

Love ya. I miss our fun convos back in the day. TOo bad we don't live closer and our little ones could play. MIss you girl!

What a cute post Tru! Such fun pics! And don't worry about it being to long, I still need to do my summer post and that's what it's going to look like also:) I have to tell you, as I was scrolling down looking at the pictures, Vander looked up and noticed it was Lindsey and Ashton, and got so excited and wanted to sit up on my lap. So I lifted him up and said look! It's Lindsey and Ashton! He was so excited and pointed at the screen! Then he all the sudden got really sad and started to cry a little and turned around and hugged me and laid his head on my chest! I couldn't help but cry, he misses them! it just pulled on my heart strings hard! We will come around as often as possible! We HAVE to! But again, very cute post! I love the mail pics! I'm gonna have to to that with Vander in our new place! Love you!

Sorry I'm still just thinking about Vander's reaction. When we come around again I will let you know ahead of time so we can plan out time for them to play! I am just so touched by his reaction to this, and it really amazed me to see this sort of emotion come out of him. It really did affect me in a way that I am just so overcome and taken away with emotion myself.

I am gonna miss summer too. It was so fun to take the littles outside for everything. It breaks my heart when it is so cold and they keep asking "side, side" because they want to go out so bad. Plus it gets dark so early...ugh.
